NOTE: this is an incomplete website and a placeholder for my website in the future.

Welcome to my website.

I study Informatics (major) and Sociology (minor) at UC Irvine, with a specialization of Health Informatics. I'm currently researching HIPAA and data breaches with Dr. Roderic Crooks at the Connected Learning Lab. I'm interested in low-resource embedded devices and regulatory affairs in the space of medical devices. I work at the UCI ANTrepreneur Center (web accessibility) and I also tutor (Calculus 1, 2, Vietnamese). I speak English, Vietnamese, and I offer translation services. I am a native speaker, I have taught and tutored Vietnamese in the past, and have translated Vietnamese-English & English-Vietnamese in research settings. I also used to work at the UC Irvine Langson Museum.

I have been rock climbing since ~ September of 2021, mostly bouldering indoor/outdoors. Cal Poly Pomona has a climbing competition every semester and I recently won my first climbing competition there on 18 April 2026 for the Women's Top Rope category. I placed 1st qualifier's and 1st in competition (I won a PETZL GRIGRI Belay Device and a t-shirt). I like to read in my free time. Some of my favorite books are "The Man Without Qualities" by Robert Musil & "Giovanni's Room" by James Baldwin. I am currently reading "Optimist Realism: Finance and the Politicization of Anticipation" by Patricia Reed.
